As a parent, I found myself searching for pieces that reflected a more imaginative and expressive style, a world away from the predictable and the ordinary clothing i was so used to seeing. The children's wear I encountered often felt confined, lacking the spark and emotion that fuels a creative spirit. I began to design and create clothing that resonated with my own unconventional way of thinking. What started as a personal endeavor to dress my child in unique clothes soon blossomed as I shared my ideas with others. Encouraged by the positive response, I took a leap and introduced these creations to the online world.. and just like that, Born Unconventional began its journey in 2021. While the path of building a brand has had its share of challenges, the experience has been an incredibly rewarding one for our entire family. We pour our hearts into every step of the process, keeping everything close to home. From screen printing done by local friends and family, to the careful packing and shipping of each order, every piece of Born Unconventional is infused with passion and care.
